Description

Many of our Labcorp locations are accepting appointments and walk-ins for COVID-19 testing (for those who are symptom-free and have no known exposure to COVID-19). You must purchase the test online before visiting a Labcorp location. Not all locations are participating, so check availability before purchasing your test.

Only purchase if you are symptom free and have not been exposed to anyone with COVID-19. This COVID-19 PCR test is typically used to meet requirements for pre-flight testing, event entrance, or school and workplace screening. If you have symptoms or recent exposure, Labcorp COVID-19 PCR testing is also available through pharmacy drive-thrus, urgent care centers, and healthcare providers.

You will typically receive results within 1-2 days of our lab receiving your sample. If your results is positive, you will be contacted by a third-party physician network, PWN Health, to discuss next steps.

Additional Information

Labcorp’s COVID-19 PCR test has not been FDA cleared or approved, has been authorized by FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), and has been authorized only for the detection of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2, not for any other viruses or pathogens. The test is only authorized for the duration of the declaration that circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency use of in vitro diagnostic tests for detection and/or diagnosis of COVID-19 under Section 564(b)(1) of the Act, 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-3(b)(1), unless the authorization is terminated or revoked sooner.

Over 1,000 locations are accepting patients for observed collection. Check to see if collection is available at a Labcorp location near you.

You must purchase the test online before visiting a Labcorp location. Appointments at our locations are required before 12pm for this test. Walk-ins are welcome in the afternoon.
